Open to knitters, crocheters, and other makers who want to bring their craftivist projects! All ages are welcome—kids craft projects will be on tap. Bring your needles, hooks and red yarn to knit the MELT THE ICE hat, supporting immigrant aid organizations right here in New Jersey. We will have a limited supply of red yarn for attendees available for purchase. While this event is free to the community, we recommend a donation of $10 to MFEE, a local organization working with immigrant families and Montclair schools through their Navegadores Escolares program.
