Join us at RecRoom to celebrate the start of Garden State Art Weekend, a statewide celebration connecting communities through art across New Jersey. For three days, galleries, studios, and creative spaces open their doors, and we’re proud to be part of it!
Our space is always home to incredible local artwork, and for this special kickoff, you’ll have the chance to meet two of the artists behind the pieces. Hang with Jenny Flexner Reinhart and Angelica Dalzon, whose work is on view throughout RecRoom, and get a deeper look into their process and inspiration.
Plus, artist Charlie Spademan - also featured in our space - will be in his studio right here in the building. Take a quick walk down the hall and say hi.
We’ll have wine, cheese, and plenty of good conversation - because art is better when it’s shared. Totally free and open to all!

📱Getting here: Put “Lackawanna Station” into your GPS, not RecRoom, so you can get to the correct entrance. We’re the first door on the right when you come into the main entrance.
🚗 Parking: Use the lots at 1 Lackawanna Plaza (our front entrance) or 227 Bloomfield Ave (our rear entrance) . Download the HONK app or scan a QR code on-site to pay ($2.50/hr) and avoid a ticket.
♿️ Accessibility: Lackawanna Station is an ADA accessible building with no stairs to navigate. We have a single-room, non-gender-specific restroom inside RecRoom, and there are 2 more inside the station.
